Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Cook thoroughly. Keep raw meat or poultry separate from other foods.   • Skillet: Place bacon slices in an unheated skillet. Cook slowly over low heat, turning occasionally, and drain excess drippings as needed.

    Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place the desired number of bacon slices in shallow baking pan on broiler rack. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or desired crispness. No turning is needed.

    Microwave Oven: Arrange up to 12 bacon slices on a paper towel microwave-safe plate. Cover with a paper towel to prevent spattering. Microwave on High to desired crispness. 2 slices - 2 minutes. 4 slices - 3 to 3-1/2 minutes. 12 slices - 8 to 9 minutes.
