Description
Cooking up golden-crispy and delicious, these Hill Country Fare hash browns are “country style,” which means they’re made by shredding potatoes into thin little strips. To prepare from frozen, simply toss some in a skillet with some oil and they’re ready to enjoy in about 10 minutes. In addition to serving them with favorites like bacon and eggs, these hash browns go great inside breakfast tacos, too.

Keep frozen. Follow the cooking instructions as product must reach a minimum of 165°F (74°C) internal temperature as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.- Stovetop: Preheat 3 – 6 Tbsp vegetable oil in a 12" nonstick skillet over medium heat. Evenly spread half bag of frozen potatoes across cooking surface to a thickness of about ½" – 1". Cover pan and cook for 2 minutes, turn potatoes over, and cook for an additional 4-6 minutes.
Note: Frozen food may develop ice crystals causing hot oil to spatter. Please add hashbrowns carefully. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed.
