For a phenomenal fruit sensation, try H-E-B Premium Sweet Karoline blackberries. Only in season from February to June, they have a much higher sugar level (brix) compared to ordinary blackberries. Deep purple in color and firm to the touch, they're grown in 3 areas of Mexico: Sinaloa, Guanajato and Jalisco. It took 7 years to develop this tantalizing berry, but it was well worth the wait! Try some while they're available as a fresh fruit snack, yogurt topper or even in a home-baked berry cobbler.
