Safe Handling: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these Safe Handling Instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.- Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Place brisket in its packaging on a cookie sheet (package is oven-safe and will self-vent). Heat until warmed through:
• 35 - 60 minutes for a 2 - 3.5 lb brisket
• 50 - 75 minutes for a 3.5 - 5 lb brisket
If cooking out of bag: Place brisket fat side up in a shallow baking pan with 1/3 cup water. Cover with foil and seal tightly, leaving 2" from top of brisket.
Microwave: Place slices on a microwave-safe plate in a single layer and cover with paper towel. Microwave 2 - 4 slices on High power for 45 - 90 seconds or until heated thoroughly.
CAUTION! Brisket will be HOT! DO NOT OVERHEAT; PRODUCT IS ALREADY COOKED. Due to variations in equipment heating time and/or temperature may require adjustment.
