Ingredients
Asparagus.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen.- Stovetop:
Place frozen asparagus in ¼ cup boiling water. Return to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and simmer until tender, about 8 - 10 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
Steamer:
Cover bottom of steamer with water. Bring water to a boil. Place frozen asparagus on top of steamer. Cover and steam for 4 - 5 minutes or until tender. Stir after first 3 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
Microwave:
Place frozen asparagus in a covered microwavable dish. Add 2 Tbsp water. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes and stir. Recover and microwave for 3 more minutes or until tender. Season to taste and serve. Due to variations in equipment, cooking time and/or temperature may require adjustment.
