Make an unforgettable cup of coffee by grinding your coffee beans to perfection. Use these helpful guidelines:
• Coffee press- use a coarse grind for 8-12 seconds
• Drip coffee maker- use a medium grind for 12-15 seconds
• Espresso coffee maker- use a very fine grind for 17-22 seconds
Next, use fresh, cold water and start with 2 level Tablespoons per 6 ounces of water (adjust to taste) and brew for 4 to 6 minutes. Once brewed, do not continue heating the coffee. The taste of coffee changes and can become bitter after 15 minutes on the burner.
