Ingredients
Basmati Rice.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep in a cool, dry place.- In a sauce pan with a lid, combine 1 tbsp butter/oil, 1 3/4 cups water/broth and 1 cup rice. Add 1 Tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice if desired. Bring to a boil over high heat, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until rice is fully cooked. For less starchy rice, saute rice in oil/butter 3-4 minutes before adding water/broth; rice will cook a few minutes faster.
