- Quick Tip: Use before cooking with your favorite marinades, or after cooking to add extra flavor and moistness to your food. Keep in mind that anything used in the flavor injector must be strained liquid. Beef and Steaks: Marinades; Teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce; Melted garlic butter (must be strained). Poultry: Teriyaki or soy sauce; Orange or lemon juice (must be strained); Melted butter. Fish: Lemon juice; Melted butter; Dry white wine. Fruits and Desserts: Brandy into cherries; Grand Marnier or kirsch into strawberries; Rum or liqueur into cakes. Hand wash recommended.
