Description

Featuring a bright green skin that remains the same color even as it ripens, tropical avocados are slightly larger than their Hass cousin. With a thin to medium-thick skin, they're firm and yellow on the inside and have a center pit that easily pops out. Flavor-wise, this type of avocado is fairly mild with a subtle nuttiness. Slice or cube some for a garden salad, or mash up a few for your famous guacamole or avocado toast.
