Description
A small, easy-to-peel tropical fruit, lychee is sometimes called an "alligator strawberry" because of its bumpy red skin. Underneath, the white flesh is sweet-tasting with a floral scent; and there's a center stone that pops out easily, much like a cherry pit. Use some lychee in fruit salad, desserts, cocktails and smoothies.
