The press is made of pre-seasoned Cast Iron. It can be used with a variety of cookware on the stovetop, on the grill or in a low temperature oven.
Wash before first use.Can be used with fry pans, griddles and on the grill.Press will be hot during use, use oven mitts to protect your hands.Do not place hot press in cool water as it will warp. Allow to cool prior to cleaning.Hand wash only with non-abrasive cleaner and soft cloth. Be sure to allow press to dry completely before storing.Do not soak cookware in water.Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher. The press is pre-seasoned. If you need to season again:1. Heat oven to 350F (175C)2. Wipe a thin layer of vegetable oil all over cookware using a paper towel. Be sure to remove wooden handles before placing in the oven.3. Place cookware in hot oven for one hour.4. Turn off oven and allow pan to cool in place.5. Once cool, remove from oven. Wipe with paper towel to remove any excess oil.The press is ready to be used or stored between uses.
