Description

Deep opaque red in the glass, with aromas of vanilla,spice box and caramel, while ripe plums and cassis subtly sit beneath. The tannins are balanced showing just the right amount of grip being present and persistent but not overwhelming. The red fruit character of this wine comes through more on the palate, with plum, black cherry and licorice flavors all mingling with a touch of cinnamon and cardamom adding complexity. The soft texture and moderate acidity allow this wine to caress the palate, leaving a complexly evolving character.
