Description
Chili Pequins, are small, reddish-colored, ripened, football-shaped peppers measuring approximately 1/4" to 1/2" in length. Much hotter than a jalapeño but milder than a habanero, Chili Pequins (40,000-60,000 HU) pack a punch.
Pequins are commonly used in salsa, sauces, soups, marinades, and infused with oil. They can be ground and sprinkled on food as-is, roasted in a pan, or boiled and blended for your favorite Mexican dishes.
