We go to extremes to make our ice cream. We search the world for the ingredients. Our cocoa beans come from the Ivory Coast of Africa. Then they're shipped to the Netherlands to be turned into rich, dark Holland cocoa. Our vanilla comes from vanilla beans hand picked in Madagascar and Indonesia. All of these exotic ingredients end up in our hometown of Brenham, Texas (population 10,000). Why do we go to all this trouble? Because using the finest ingredients is the only way to make the best ice cream. And the best ice cream in the country is what folks expect from Blue Bell. When they spoon into our Dutch Chocolate or Homemade Vanilla cups, we want them to love it. When they do, we're extremely happy we went to extremes to make our ice cream.
