Description
Saignée, or to bleed, is the method of collecting juice immediately after we crush red grapes. By utilizing the juice from the same grapes which produce our favorite red wines, fermenting as if a white wine - slow and cold - we are creating a bigger, bolder rosé with pronounced bright fruits and florals. The Saigné is a blend of Counoise, Cabernet Sauvingon, Tannat and Syrah, all of which mingle together, yielding a striking rose with a bright floral nose, citrus and watermelon on the palate. Pair with grilled fish, goose, turkey, hard cheeses, spicy dishes and salsas.
