Made from 100% Pinot Grigio, this is an excellent expression not only of the variety, but the Friuli terroir. The Friuli region is in the northeastern corner of Italy, an area known worldwide for its white wines. Italy’s Friuli region is known for producing exceptional white wines crafted with balanced acidity, sugars and fresh ripe, structured fruit.This 100% Pinot Grigio white wine is vibrant on the palate, the crisp acidity acts as the counterpoint to the peach, almond, and light floral notes in the wine.This White Wine has a Screw Cap closure.Alcohol Content: 12.5%Pairs perfectly with calamari, white meats and soufflé.Benvolio grapes are grown in vineyards located west of San Daniele del Friuli along the cool hillsides of the Alps. This allows for longer sun exposure and superior drainage. The Friuli region has predominately gravely and sandy soils that contribute to Benvolio’s lean mineral tones and clean, ripe aromas. Our vineyards benefit from a complex combination of microclimates, with warm air coming from the Adriatic Sea during the day, and cool night breezes from the snow-covered Alps. Our vineyards also focus on sustainability. Low environmental impact systems and solutions are tested both for the cultivation and for the protection from diseases. We participate in ongoing research and development from selection of new clones to the use of cutting-edge farming practices, identifying irrigation and pruning methods that are more in line with protecting the environment.
