  • Couscou Quick Cooking Instructions (to serve 3 to 4, 1-1/4 cups of Couscous): 1. In a large saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil. Then add one dash of salt and one teaspoon of oil. 2. Remove from heat and sprinkle 1-1/4 cups of Couscous into the water while stirring gently. 3. Cover and let rise for 2 minutes (all the water should be absorbed by the Couscous). 4. Add 2 or 3 dabs of butter ( or margarine) then return to low heat for 3 minutes, stirring with a fork to separate the grains. Store in a cool dry place.
