Description
A Black Swan is an event so improbable that when it occurs it changes everything. This is our modern take on the classic espresso; our way of rethinking what a darker espresso can be. Cappuccinos made with Black Swan taste like thick hot chocolate, while straight shots are silky with notes of dark chocolate and amaretto.
To prepare Black Swan as a double shot of espresso, finely grind 16-17 grams of coffee. Add to the portafilter, making a level bed of coffee and then tamping it down. Insert the portafilter and pull your shot until 32 - 34 grams of liquid espresso has been produced. Stir and drink right away, or combine with steamed milk.
