Humulin N U-100 Insulin Vial

Humulin® N is an intermediate-acting insulin, which can cover your insulin needs between meals and during the night. It is slower to act and lasts longer than regular human insulin. Humulin N is available in a prefilled pen and vial.

Humulin N is injected under the skin. It should not be injected into the muscle or veins. Doses of insulin are measured in units. U-100 insulin options, including Humulin N, contain 100 units/mL. With Humulin N, it is important to use a syringe that is marked for U-100 insulins.

Do not use Humulin N if:

•the insulin substance (the white material) remains at the bottom of the bottle after mixing, or

•there are clumps in the insulin after mixing, or

•solid white particles stick to the bottom or walls of the bottle or cartridge, giving a frosted appearance
