  • Stovetop Method:
    1. Combine rice, water/broth, butter and salt in a saucepan that has a tight-fitting lid.
    2. Bring to a boil, uncovered, and stir once or twice.
    3. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until water is absorbed, without stirring.
    4. Fluff with a fork and serve.


    Rice Cooker Method:
    Follow rice cooker instructions. Place butter in the bottom of the rice cooker. Add rice and water/broth and cook. Fluff with a fork when finished and serve.
