Description
Andromeda is one of our “Zero IBU” beers. This means that we only dry-hopped the beer. We didn’t throw in any hops during the whirlpool or on the “hot side” of the brewing process- the point when brewers put in hops to add bitterness. By only dry-hopping the beer, we are giving it a super smooth, juicy, fruitiness with little-to-none of the bite (of Cetus).
The 8% juicy, gentle double IPA Andromeda is loaded up with Vic Secret and Mosaic. It is heavy on tropical flavors, especially pineapple. It has notes of grapefruit, peach and those easy-to-peel “Cuties” clementine. It is ultra bright, incredibly juicy, and oh so crushable. We love this beaut and are so excited to bring it back to you all. It’s super velvety and as soft as can be.
In Greek Mythology, Andromeda was chained to a rock by her own father, King Cepheus, to be a sacrifice to the sea monster Cetus. This was to appease Poseidon after Cepheus’ wife Cassiopeia had bragged about her being more beautiful than the Nereids. Dreamy Perseus saves her from her chains and takes her to Greece to be his queen.
