White Peppercorns essentially begin as black peppercorns, but are allowed to ripen more fully on the vine before being harvested. The black outer shell is then removed leaving the clean white inner peppercorn. White Peppercorns have a rich, robust, peppery flavor that is perfect for soups, grilled meat or poultry, or in light-colored dishes where maintaining color consistency is desired. USDA organic.
