White Chocolate Chocolate Matcha Bars

Recipe makes 18 Servings

2 sticks of salted butter, softened
1 cup(s) brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup(s) granualted sugar
2 large eggs
2 Tbsp matcha powder, divided use
3 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tsp vanilla extract
2 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp baking soda
1 Tsp kosher salt
12 Oz white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Cream butter and sugar together.
Add in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
Then add in 1 tablespoon of matcha powder, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.
Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix until all is incorporated.
Add in entire bag of white chocolate chips to the dough mix until incorporated.
Transfer dough to a 9 x 13 baking dish, and press until dough is evenly distributed.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until a tooth pick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool then cut into 18 to 24 bars.
Place remaining matcha powder into a sieve and dust the top of the bars.
