Two-Step Chili & Cream Casserole

Recipe makes 8 Servings

1 1/2 Lb H-E-B 93% Ground Beef
33 Oz Cookwell & Company Texas Two-Step Chili, divided use
1 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
10 flour tortillas, 6-in
3 cup(s) shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 Tsp crushed red pepper

Heat oven to 425°F.
Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
Brown ground beef in a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink.
Stir in half of chili mix until heated, then remove skillet from heat.
Place remaining half jar of chili mix in a separate bowl. Combine with cream and set aside.
Tear tortillas into bite-size pieces.
Place one-third of tortillas over bottom of baking dish.
Layer half of beef mixture over tortillas; top with 1 cup cheese. Repeat process (using same amounts).
Top with remaining tortillas, cream mixture and cheese.
Bake 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let stand 5 minutes; serve.
Top with crushed red pepper, if desired.
