Texas Size Crab and Shrimp Salad Toast

3 slices of bacon
1/3 cup(s) sweet onion, chopped fine, divided use
3 garlic cloves, chopped
6 Oz H-E-B Texas Gulf Shrimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 Tsp Chef Paul Prudhomme Magic Seasoning Blend Seafood Magic, divided use
6 1/2 Oz Miller's Select Claw Crab Meat, drained
1/4 cup(s) mayonnaise
2 Tbsp green onions, chopped
1 rib of celery, chopped into small pieces
2 Tbsp salted butter, softened
2 slices H-E-B Select Ingredients Big Bread
2 slices H-E-B Provolone Cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a medium non-stick skillet, cook bacon until crispy then transfer to a cutting board, reserving grease. Chop bacon and set aside.

Add 1/4 cup sweet onions and chopped garlic to same pan and stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes.

Add shrimp and 1/4 teaspoon of seafood seasoning, and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until fully cooked.

Roughly chop shrimp and place in a bowl with crab, mayonnaise, remaining seafood seasoning, green onions, celery, remaining sweet onions and bacon. Stir to combine.

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread and place butter side down on a sheet pan.

Evenly spread crab mixture on bread and top with a slice of cheese.

Bake 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
