Recipe makes 8 Servings

1 The Texas Pie Company Original Pie Dough Puck, thawed completely and set at room temperature for use
2 cup(s) granulated sugar
1/3 cup(s) all purpose flour
1/2 cup(s) buttermilk
5 large eggs
2 Oz salted butter or 1/2 a stick, melted
1/2 cup(s) lemons, juiced

Preheat oven to 350˚F. Allow pie dough to thaw completely and sit at room temperature, while prepping the ingredients.
Combine Sugar and flour together and mix thoroughly, set aside.
In a separate bowl combine buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and lemon juice together; whisk to combine everything.
Add wet ingredients to the dry and whisk to combine into a smooth batter.
Let mixture sit for 10 minutes and roll out your pie crust into a pie pan and crimp the edges.
Pour mixture into pie crust and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until pie is completely set in the center.
Pie is delicious right out of the oven, but it sets and tastes better if it has at least 30 to 45 minutes to cool. Serve with fresh whipped cream if desired.
