Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 1/2 Lb ground beef
1/2 cup(s) spicy barbecue sauce, divided use
4 cheddar cheese slices
1 cup(s) coleslaw mix
2 Tbsp mayonnaise
4 hamburger buns, toasted
1 jalapeño pepper, cut into 12 slices
1 cup(s) barbecue chips

Mix beef and 1/4 cup sauce in a large bowl. Season beef mixture as desired. Shaped beef into 4, 4 to 5 inch diameter patties.
Spray a grill pan or skillet with vegetable cooking spray and heat over medium heat 1 minute. Cook patties 6 minutes, then turn over and cook 4 minutes or more until cooked through, topping each patty with 1 slice of cheese during last minute of cooking.
Stir coleslaw and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
To assemble burgers, layer each as follows: 1 bottom bun half, 1 patty, 1 tablespoon sauce, 1/4 cup coleslaw mixture, jalapeño pepper slices, 1/4 cup potato chips and 1 top bun half. Serve with additional sauce, if desired.
