Strawberry Cupcakes With Lemon Basil Icing

Recipe makes 24 Servings

15 1/4 Oz yellow cake mix
1 cup(s) strawberries, chopped finely
2 8.2 oz. pkg. H-E-B Lemon Basil Frosting Mix, prepare according to package directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Line 2 muffin pans with paper liners or use non-stick spray.
Prepare cake batter according to package directions then fold in strawberries.
Spoon batter into tins 3/4 of the way full.
Bake until cupcakes are browned on top and a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, place icing in a plastic bag or pastry bag.
Once cupcakes are baked and cooled to the touched, ice each cupcake. Store covered in a cool dry place before serving.
