Recipe makes 5 Servings

3 garlic, peeled
1 small yellow onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
2 cup(s) mushrooms
1 Tsp olive oil
3/4 Lb extra lean ground beef
1/2 Tsp kosher salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper
2 Tbsp tomato paste
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cup(s) low sodium beef broth
2 cup(s) whole wheat macaroni
2 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup(s) low fat sour cream

In a food processor mince garlic, onions, carrots and mushrooms together. Set aside.
Heat oil in a large Dutch oven on medium-high. Add beef, breaking up with a fork, and cook until well browned.
Add minced veggie mixture and cook until tender. Blend in salt, pepper, tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook several minutes then add 2 cups water and 1 cup broth. Bring to a simmer and add uncooked pasta.
Mix flour with remaining cup of stock and stir into pasta mixture. Cover pot and simmer until pasta is cooked through. The sauce should thicken.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve immediately.
