Recipe makes 9 Servings

1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup(s) white onion, finely diced
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
2 cup(s) Atry Smoked Basmati Rice
1 cup(s) Santa Prisca Sangrita
1 3/4 cup(s) water
1/2 Tsp kosher salt

Instructions

Heat oil in a medium sauce pan over medium flame.

Add in onion and garlic and cook for several minutes stirring continuously until onions are translucent.

Add in rice to the onion mixture and stir fry for about 3 to 4 more minutes stirring constantly.

Once rice is fragrant add in sangrita, water and salt. Bring the pot up to a rapid simmer for 10 minutes then cover and remove from heat and let sit for 25 minutes until liquid has been absorbed.

Fluff with a fork and serve.
