1 Lb H-E-B smoked Sausage
1/4 cup(s) unsalted butter
1 cup(s) sweet bulb onion, chopped
1 cup(s) celery, chopped
1 cup(s) red bell pepper, chopped
1 granny smith apple, chopped (peel first, if preferred)
1 Tbsp dry rosemary, crumbled
1 H-E-B Cornbread from Bakery, crumbled
1/2 H-E-B Herb Seasoned Stuffing
2 cup(s) chicken broth

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F.

Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

Brown sausage in a large, nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes; break into small pieces with edge of spoon. Drain sausage; remove to a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Heat butter in same skillet; add onion, celery, bell pepper, apple and rosemary. Sauté 6-8 minutes or until onion is tender.

Add vegetable mixture to sausage and toss with cornbread and stuffing mix.

Add broth; toss to coat all ingredients. (Add more broth if mixture is too dry.)

Transfer dressing to prepared baking dish and cover with foil.

Bake 30 minutes; remove foil and bake 10 more minutes.
