Roasted Green Beans with Orange Balsamic Shallots

Recipe makes 10 Servings

1 1/2 Lb green beans
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tsp low salt soy sauce
1 medium orange, use 1 tablespoon juice and 1 teaspoon zest
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 Tsp lightly dried chili pepper flakes, or to desired spiciness

Preheat oven to 450ºF.
Wash beans and trim any woody ends.
In a small bowl whisk together oil, soy sauce, orange juice, orange zest, balsamic and pepper flakes. Pour oil over beans and toss gently to coat.
Spread beans in a thin layer on a sheet pan and roast for 20 minutes, or to desired doneness.
