Raviolini with Sausage, Chili & Cavolo Nero

Recipe makes 6 Servings

1/4 cup(s) extra virgin olive oil
1 Lb spicy Italian sausage
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
1 bunch of lacinato or Tuscan kale, roughly chopped
1 cup(s) white onions, diced
1/3 cup(s) Fresno chili peppers, thinly sliced
24 Oz H-E-B Raviolini Filled Pasta with Three Cheese
1 large lemon, zest only

Place a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add olive oil, sausage and garlic. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, using a spoon to break up sausage as it cooks.
Add kale, onions and chili peppers, then stir-fry an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until onions are beginning to color. Add raviolini to sausage mixture and stir fry an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
Turn off heat, add lemon zest and toss, cover pot and allow to sit for at least 6 to 8 minutes or until pasta is fully cooked.
Season to taste as needed and garnish with cheese and fresh herbs if desired.
