1 cup(s) whole wheat penne pasta
1 cup(s) champagne sweet tomatoes, washed and halved
2 cup(s) baby spinach, stems removed
2 Tbsp basil pesto
1/4 cup(s) Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Prepare pasta according to package instructions.

While pasta cooks, prepare pesto according to package directions.

When pasta is done, drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Place cooked pasta and reserved water into a medium sized bowl. Toss with tomatoes, spinach and pesto.

Top with a tablespoon of Parmesan cheese.
