Penne With Tomato-Basil Sauce

Ingredients

Recipe makes 6 Servings

1 Lb HEB Organics Penne
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic, finely chopped
29 Oz crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp basil leaves
1/8 Tsp kosher salt
1/8 Tsp black pepper
1/2 cup(s) Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

Cook pasta according to directions on package. Drain and set aside.

Using the same pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add garlic, crushed tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.

Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
