Pecos 83 Cowboy Strip Steaks

Recipe makes 4 Servings

2 Lb boneless New York strip steaks, cut 3/4 or 1-inch thick
1 1/2 cup(s) Cookwell & Company Pecos 83 BBQ Marinade
1 Tsp H-E-B Oregano
1 Tsp garlic powder
1 Tsp kosher salt
1 Tsp H-E-B Black Pepper

Instructions

Place steaks and marinade in a large plastic bag. Seal bag and toss to coat; marinate steaks 30-60 minutes.

Heat gas grill on high 10 minutes with lid closed.

Pour marinade from steaks into a small pot.

Bring to a boil over medium heat; simmer 3 minutes or longer until reduced slightly. Set aside.

Season steaks with oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Grill according to steak package directions; baste with reduced marinade after turning.

Baste steaks again after grilling. Serve.
