Recipe makes 12 Servings

2 Tbsp H-E-B Pure Olive Oil
1/2 Lb lean ground beef
1 medium white onion, chopped
1 green bell peppers, chopped
2 Tsp minced garlic in oil
1 Tsp oregano
1 Tsp cumin
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp pepper
1/4 Tsp allspice
28 Oz crushed tomatoes
4 Oz diced pimentos
1/2 cup(s) golden raisins
1/2 cup(s) slivered almonds

Heat oil in large, deep skillet over medium-high heat, add beef and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until browned. Stir frequently and crumble into small pieces with edge of cooking spoon.
Add onion, bell pepper and garlic; sauté 5 more minutes or until onion is cooked. Sprinkle seasonings over beef mixture; stir and cook 5 more minutes.
Add tomatoes, pimentos and raisins. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Toast almonds in skillet over medium heat. Stir in right before serving.
