Linguine with Red Clam Sauce

Recipe makes 6 Servings

1 medium shallot, minced
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup(s) dry red wine
1 can of whole fancy clams in juice
1 jar of Four J Rhode Island Red Pasta Sauce
16 Oz H-E-B Organics Linguine

In a large sauté pan, sweat shallots and garlic in olive oil 2 to 3 minutes or until just translucent.
Add in wine and allow to reduce slightly before adding clams with juice. Bring to a simmer and add sauce.
Bring sauce to a simmer and make pasta while sauce is cooking.
Cook pasta according to package instructions.
Drain pasta and add to sauce. Toss pasta in sauce to coat and season to taste as needed.
