Recipe makes 9 Servings

1/2 cup(s) Whole Blanched Almonds
3 H-E-B Peeled Garlic, quartered
3 cup(s) basil leaves, loosely packed
1 cup(s) H-E-B Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup(s) H-E-B Fancy Shredded Parmesan
3 Tbsp lemon, juiced
1/8 salt
1/8 Tsp black pepper

Add to List


Place almonds in processor bowl and process for 1 minute until finely chopped.
Add garlic and process for 10 more seconds.
Add basil leaves and olive oil and process 10 more seconds. Use more oil if mixture is too thick.
Add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice and process 5 more seconds. You may add more lemon juice for flavor.
Mixture should be slightly chunky.
Add salt and pepper, mix well.
Place pesto in a jar with a lid and refrigerate until ready to use.
