Lemon Lime Salted Butter Pound Cake

Recipe makes 8 Servings

1 1/2 cup(s) salted butter
3 cup(s) all purpose flour
1 lemon, zested
1 lime, zested
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
2 cup(s) granulated sugar
5 large eggs
1/2 Tsp baking soda
8 Oz H-E-B Twist Soda
1/4 cup(s) powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 325ºF. Butter and flour (2) 8x4-inch loaf pans or a large Bundt pan. Set aside.
In a large bowl or stand mixer blend butter, lemon/lime zest, vanilla and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs one at a time allowing each to be incorporated before adding next, until all eggs have been used.
In a separate bowl sift together dry ingredients (baking soda and flour).
One cup at a time, add dry mix and 2 to 3 tablespoons of soda, mixing well before each addition. Then repeat process until all dry ingredients and soda are blended. Turn mixer up to high for the last 30 seconds to make sure mixture is fluffy and all ingredients are well incorporated.
Pour batter evenly between pans, place into oven and bake until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean (about 35 - 45 minutes depending on oven).
Remove from oven when fully cooked, garnish with lemon zest and dust with powdered sugar.
