Ingredients

Recipe makes 4 Servings

6 Oz Jell-O, Raspberry Flavor, (or other flavor if preferred)
1 cup(s) water, boiling hot
1 1/2 cup(s) dry red wine
2 cup(s) fresh sliced strawberries, (or other fruit like peaches, blueberries, raspberries)
8 Oz dessert whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

Add dry Jell-O to bowl. Stir in hot water to dissolve.

Add wine and stir. Divide half of fresh fruit between 4 to 6 oz., serving glasses (wine, margarita or small mason jars work well).

Pour Jell-O/wine mixture into a blender. Add half of whipped topping. Blend well for about 1 minute.

Divide equally between 4 glasses and allow to chill until set.

Top with remaining whipped topping and fruit before serving.

Chef's Note: These are a nice grown-up dessert for warm weather since are basically big, delicious shots. Also works well with white wine and almost any kind of fruit, except pineapple. Best to choose a dry wine since Jell-O makes these quite sweet.
