8 Texas Pie Company Tart Shells, need name and upc
2 Lb frozen sweet cherries, slightly thawed
1/2 cup(s) all purpose flour
2 Tbsp corn starch
1 cup(s) sugar
1 1/2 Tsp lemon zest
1 Tsp kosher or sea salt, not iodized
1 Tsp vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Place tart shells onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until shells are just starting to brown. Remove and allow to cool.
In a large bowl, combine cherries, flour, corn starch, sugar, lemon zest, salt, and vanilla extract together. Mix well by hand to thoroughly combine.
Place a generous scoop of cherry filling into each tart shell. Place tarts in oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until filling is bubbly and thickened. Allow to cool before serving.
Chef's Note: For serving, dust tops of each pie shell with powdered sugar and serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream. Use leftover filling for additional pies if desired.
