Grilled Strawberry Shortcake with Honey Butter Soft Cream

Recipe makes 12 Servings

2 cup(s) heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup(s) Whataburger Honey Butter Sauce
1/4 Tsp fine sea salt
1/4 Tsp vanilla extract
1 Lb strawberries, stemmed and cut in half longways
4 Oz unsalted butter, melted
16 Oz Sara Lee All Butter Pound Cake Family Size, cut in 1-inch pieces

Preheat grill to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl or in a standing mixer, whisk together the heavy cream, honey butter glaze, salt and vanilla until very soft peaks form, yet still thin enough to pour.
Once grill is heated, brush halved strawberries and pound cake with butter and grill 2 to 3 minutes per side to get grill marks.
Assemble the shortcakes by placing the grilled pound cake on the plate and top with the grilled strawberries and honey butter whipped cream.
Chef's note: Dust shortcake with powdered sugar.
