Grilled Hawaiian Teriyaki Steaks

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Lb New York strip steak, cut no more than 1-inch thick
2 Tbsp Adams Reserve Peppercorn & Garlic Sear-N-Crust Rub
8 Oz crushed pineapple in juice
3/4 cup(s) teriyaki glaze
1/8 Tsp kosher salt

Season both sides of steaks with rub and allow to stand 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature.
Meanwhile, place crushed pineapple in a small saucepan and stir in teriyaki glaze.
Bring to a simmer and cook about five minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until reduced and thickened. Set aside.
Prepare a charcoal fire or heat gas grill on high 10 minutes.
Grill steaks 4 to 8 minutes per side. Season with salt.
Pour teriyaki-pineapple sauce over grilled steaks and serve.
