1 Tbsp Ottavio Private Reserve Olive Oil
1/2 cup(s) yellow onions, fine diced
1 1/2 Tbsp Mi Tienda All Purpose Seasoning
1 Lb H-E-B Ground Chuck
1 1/2 cup(s) Cookwell & Company Green Chili Stew
1 Texas Pie Company Pie Dough Puck, thawed
12 Oz H-E-B Shredded Sharp Cheddar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray then set aside.

Heat a large skillet on medium-high.

Add olive oil, onions, and seasoning and sauté 2 minutes.

Crumble ground chuck into onion mixture and cook 6 minutes, stirring continuously, until browned. Drain fat from skillet.

Stir in green chili stew and heat 3 minutes.

Meanwhile, roll out Pie Dough Puck to 1/16 of an inch thick and cut out six 5-inch circles.

Remove skillet from heat and allow contents to cool to room temperature.

In the middle of each dough circle, place 3 tablespoons of cooled beef mixture then top with 2 ounces of cheese.

Fold dough circles in half to create a half circle purse.

Use a fork to crimp edges of empanadas then poke the top side with the fork to release steam.

Place sealed empanadas on prepared pan and bake 20 minutes.
