Ingredients

Recipe makes 12 Servings

1/4 cup(s) unsalted butter
1 small white onions
1 small jalapeño pepper
15 1/4 Oz H-E-B Gold and White Whole Kernal Corn
15 Oz H-E-B® Cream De La Corn
6 Oz honey sweet cornbread mix
3 eggs, extra large
2 cup(s) cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and green pepper. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, mix corn, cornbread mix, eggs, sautéed onions and green pepper and 1 cup grated cheese; stir.

Pour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.

Sprinkle remaining cheese over mixture.

Bake 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
