Recipe makes 18 Servings

1 cup(s) Nutiva organic shortening
2 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
2 large eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
4 Oz dried golden berries
2 cup(s) whole wheat flour
1 cup(s) rolled oats
1 Tsp baking soda
1 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp kosher salt

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a food processor combine the shortening, brown sugar, until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract and continue to pulse until smooth.
Add golden berries, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, baking soda, baking powder and kosher salt and continue to pulse until you have a smooth mixture.
Press dough into a greased 8 x 8-inch baking pan and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until browned.
Cool bars before cutting.
