Garlic Steamed Clams And Linguini

Ingredients

Recipe makes 8 Servings

6 Oz linguine
36 little neck clams
1/4 cup(s) pure olive oil
1/4 cup(s) parsley, minced
4 large H-E-B® Peeled Garlic, crushed
2 cup(s) reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup(s) Chardonnay
3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Bring large pot of water to a boil.

Cook pasta according to package directions then drain and set aside.

Scrub outer shell of clams with a stiff brush to remove sand as needed.

Heat olive oil in a large stock pot over medium heat.

Sauté parsley and garlic 1 minute.

Pour in chicken broth and wine and bring to a boil.

Reduce mixture by half and add clams to pot.

Cover and steam open clams 5 to 10 minutes over medium-low heat. Discard any clams that do not open.

Place pasta in a serving bowl and pour clams and broth over cooked pasta.

Pour melted butter over pasta and toss to coat.
