6 .3000 Oz Wonderful Roasted & Salted Almonds
1/4 cup(s) La Tourangelle Roasted Walnut Oil
1/4 cup(s) honey
1/4 Tsp cinnamon
1/2 Tsp orange zest
1 1/2 cup(s) canola oil, plus more as needed for frying
1/2 Tsp ground cardamon, plus more as needed to taste
1/3 cup(s) sugar, plus more as needed
1 frozen pizza dough ball, thawed at room temperature

Instructions

In a food processor combine, almonds, walnut oil, honey, cinnamon and orange zest. Pulse until smooth, place into a serving bowl.

Place oil into a large non-stick skillet and set over medium-heat. Allow oil to heat to approximately 325º- 350ºF. Mix cardamon and sugar together and set aside in a bowl.

Cut and roll out dough into 1 to 2 inch circle pieces. Fry dough in oil approximately 2 to 4 minutes per side or until puffy and cooked.

Fry dough in batches to keep temperature of oil consistent. When dough is fried remove to a wire rack to drain, sprinkle a little sugar mixture over each.

Allow dough to cool and serve with amalou sauce spread as needed.
