Flakey Apple Cinnamon Rolls

Recipe makes 8 Servings

2 cup(s) Fuji apples, chopped small
1 cup(s) brown sugar
1/2 Tsp ground cinnamon, plus more as desired
1 Tsp kosher salt
1 sheet of puff pastry, fully thawed

Preheat oven to 425˚F.
In a small bowl combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt together. Toss well to combine everything.
Roll out puff pastry into a rectangular shape. Brush with butter and sprinkle on sugar and apple mixture evenly and press gently into puff pastry.
Gently roll dough up into one long roll. Cut dough into 1 to 2 inch cinnamon rolls.
Spray each muffin tins with non-stick spray and place each cinnamon roll cut side up in each tin.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until rolls are puffed and nicely browned, serve warm. Top with any icing or glaze if desired.
